FlipFolio ("FlipFolio", "we", "our", or "us") helps users track furniture flipping projects, costs, sales, and performance insights across web and mobile. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use FlipFolio.

Information We Collect

• Account details such as email and authentication metadata.
• Project and business profile content you enter in the app.
• Uploads such as photos, receipts, notes, and links.
• Referral or campaign parameters when you arrive via a partner link (for example influencer slug or UTM tags), stored with your account when you sign up.
• Subscription status and purchase events from Apple and RevenueCat.
• Technical logs, device information, and diagnostics used for reliability, security, and support.
• Product analytics events (for example feature usage) when enabled in our apps.

How We Use Information

• Provide, operate, and improve FlipFolio features.
• Run AI-powered features you request (such as Worth Buying or recommendations).
• Secure accounts and prevent abuse.
• Sync your data across devices.
• Manage subscriptions and Pro entitlements.
• Measure product performance and fix bugs.
• Respond to support requests and service issues.
• Comply with legal obligations.

Service Providers

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers that help us run FlipFolio, under contracts that limit their use of your data. Categories of providers include:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Vercel — web application hosting.
• RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management on mobile.
• Apple — App Store billing and distribution when you subscribe on iOS.
• PostHog — product analytics.
• Sentry — error monitoring and crash diagnostics.
• Google (Gemini) and OpenAI — AI features you invoke (for example image analysis, recommendations, or text generation). Content you submit for AI processing is sent to these providers to generate responses.

We may also share information with legal authorities when required by law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice where required).

Data Retention and Security

We retain data as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no method of storage or transmission is fully secure.

Your Choices and Rights

You can update profile details in the app. You can manage iOS subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Account and Data Deletion

You may delete your account and associated app data from within the FlipFolio mobile app (Profile → delete account), when that feature is available in your build. You may also request account deletion by emailing flipfolio.dev@gmail.com from the address tied to your account. Deletion is intended to be permanent and removes your projects and related data from our systems, subject to limited retention we may keep for legal, security, or backup purposes.

Children's Privacy

FlipFolio is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

International Users

FlipFolio is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand that your information may be processed and stored in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of FlipFolio after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
